1. General notes and compulsory information
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the legal data protection regulations and this data protection declaration.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. It is not possible to completely protect data from access by third parties.
Note on the responsible body
The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data. The body responsible for data processing on this website is:
Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke any consent already given at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal message by e-mail. Please send your revocation to the address firstname.lastname@example.org. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the time of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right of appeal
In the event of violations of data protection law, the person concerned has a right of appeal to any data protection supervisory authority. A list of data protection authorities and their contact details can be found at the following link: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Service/Anschriften/Laender/Laender-node.html
Right to data transferability
You have the right to have data which we process on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible party, this will only take place to the extent that it is technically feasible.
SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content that you send to us as site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from »http://« to »https://« and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
Information, blocking, deletion
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to obtain information free of charge at any time about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and a right to correct or restrict the processing; the latter may be restricted by contractual or legal obligations. For this purpose, as well as for further questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint.
Links to websites of other providers
Insofar as this website contains links to websites of other providers, this data protection declaration does not extend to these other websites. We have no influence on whether their providers comply with the data protection regulations. Please refer to the data protection information of the respective providers.
Changes to the data protection regulations
Our data protection declaration can be adapted at irregular intervals to meet current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services, e.g. when new offers are added. The new data protection declaration will then automatically apply to your next visit.
2. Data collection on our website
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, this may impair the functionality of this website.
Cookies, which are necessary for the electronic communication process or for the provision of certain functions you require (e.g. shopping basket function), are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of his services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are treated separately in this data protection declaration.
Server log files
The provider of the website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This means that the companies entrusted by us with web hosting also have access to your data. These »commissioned data processors« are subject to our instructions in data protection matters; this is governed by a commissioned data processing contract. No other bodies are given access to the data without your consent.
The access logs of the web servers record which pages were called up at which time. They contain the following data: IP, directory protection user, date, time, pages accessed, operating system used, browser type and version, logs, status code, data volume, referrer, user agent, host name accessed. The IP addresses are stored anonymously, for example 127.0.0.1 becomes 127.0.0.*. IPv6 addresses are also made anonymous. The anonymised IP addresses are stored for 60 days. Information on the directory protection user used is anonymized after one day.
Error logs, which record incorrect page views, are deleted after seven days. In addition to the error messages, these logs contain the accessing IP address and, depending on the error, the website called up.
Accesses via FTP are logged with anonymised information on the user name and IP address and stored for 60 days.
The mail logs for sending e-mails from the web environment are anonymised after one day and then retained for 60 days. During anonymisation, all data on the sender/recipient etc. is removed. Only the data on the time of sending and the information on how the e-mail was processed (queue ID or not sent) remain.
Mail logs for sending via our mail servers are deleted after four weeks. The longer retention period is necessary to ensure the functionality of the mail services and to combat spam. It is not possible to determine the retention period individually.
The server log files are not merged with other data sources. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the processing for the technically error-free and optimised provision of his services.
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored for three months for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. In this respect, the companies entrusted by us with web hosting also have access to your data.
The processing of the data entered in the contact form is thus exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal message by e-mail. In the event of a revocation, we will immediately delete the data collected with the contact form, unless mandatory legal provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – conflict with this. The legality of the data processing procedures carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Enquiry by e-mail, telephone or fax
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your enquiry including all personal data (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, insofar as your enquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO) and/or on the legitimate interest of the website operator in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of his services (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO).
The data sent to us by you via contact requests will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to its storage or the purpose for which it was stored no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
3. Analysis tools and advertising
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, »Google« House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics uses »cookies«, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information about your use of the website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
The storage of Google Analytics cookies and the use of this analysis tool are based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. On your first visit to this website, you have given your consent to the processing of personal data concerning you by means of the cookie notice, and you can end the processing by deleting all cookies from your browser’s memory.
We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. This means that your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states which are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before it is transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services to the website operator in connection with the use of the website and the internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.
User and event-level data stored at Google that is linked to cookies, user IDs (e.g. User ID) or advertising IDs (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID) is anonymised or deleted after 14 months. Details can be found under the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7667196?hl=de
Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program of Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
As part of Google AdWords, we use what is known as conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that the internet browser places on the user’s computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify users. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not expired, Google and we may recognise that the user has clicked on the ad and been redirected to that page.
Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked through the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected through the conversion cookie is used to compile conversion statistics for those AdWords customers who have opted-in to conversion tracking. The customers will know the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can opt-out of this use by deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie on your web browser under User Preferences.
The storage of »conversion cookies« and the use of this tracking tool are based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. On your first visit to this website you have given your consent to the processing of personal data relating to you by means of the cookie notice.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts, which are provided by Google, for the uniform display of fonts. The Google Fonts are installed locally. There is no connection to Google servers.
The legal basis for the processing of data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the processing for the technically error-free and optimised provision of his services.
